New Age Manga Website

Thought I'd do a little shameless advertising^_^

I've created a new company called, "New Age Manga."
It's a website to showcase original and unique manga.

Requirements:

• Artists must be able to write a 25 paged chapter from a series every 2 months.

• The work must be original and unsolicited.

• The artists must agree to do extra work (illustrations, posters) that is separate to the series on occasion.


Remuneration:

Each successful candidate will receive 50% of each chapter purchased and fair compensation for any extra work required.


Goal:

The goal is to build a broad fan base for any undiscovered artists that are looking to expose their work to a larger audience.


Application package:


-a concise description of the story concept; (This is to judge on your originality)

-a detailed plot summary (1-2 pages); (This is to judge on your completion and consistency skills. It would be problematic if we run into an artist that goes on long hiatus')

-descriptions of major characters; (This is to judge your character interest level; are they likable or memorable characters?)

-complete artwork for 10-20 pages (This is to judge your story writing and artistry skills)


We will send you a more detailed description of the official submission requirements (page size, deadlines etc.) once you have been chosen as a candidate. Your application submissions will not be disclosed to any other individual/party at any time unless you permit us to.

The 4 lucky semi finalists are:

2. DA username: HighQueenRachy - Nothing could stop this moment, as I spread my arms and learn how to soar without wings. But no one ever told me that flying was just the same as falling.

DA username: darkn2ght - Nothing could stop this moment...everyone watched in horror as the best man pulled out a gun and aimed in the direction of the bride...POP!--and then beautiful confetti of every colour rained down on her stunned face. 'I love you! May you be happy forever!', he shouted, with tears running down his smiling face.


4. DA username: PaperDart - Nothing could stop this moment, Jonathon realised as he watched it force its way through the vaults of time. He grabbed his pocket-watch and started running as it began to unravel the third century.

Thank you to everyone that submitted their wonderful work.  Everyone submitted great sentences, and it truly was a difficult decision.  Now, the winner is remaining in the hands of the readers.  Please vote for your favorite semi finalist^_^

The happy teddy bears are good reviews and the sad cats are the better luck next time reviews. If there is anything you would like to comment on or would like me to rate please leave a comment.
