Nothing could stop this moment; the lusty wind crinkled my hair while my heart beat soundly in my chest. The doleful tears couldn't stop from cascading down my cheeks... I knew it was over before it had begun, but the stultifying feelings I had feared all along was enough to slice my soul in half.
Nothing could stop this moment of absolute and utter suspense that hung in the air around us. Not my mother who disapproved or father who thought I could have done better or even my best friend who was jealous of the certainty of the moment between us, because once our I do's were said like the forbidden fruit that held promise and commitment that bound us together like unmoving barbed wire coiled tightly around our souls, knowing that once our frozen lips touched each other and shattered our walls of secrecy, our new life would bloom from our thawing spirits and it would be damningly beautiful.
Nothing could stop this moment, as I spread my arms and learn how to soar without wings. But no one ever told me that flying was just the same as falling...
Nothing could stop this moment as time is intangable. But how can a person relish the moment when it is gone before you know it. I want this feeling to last forever. Nothing could stop this moment, but I really wish they could.

'I love you! May you be happy forever!', he shouted, with tears running down his smiling face.

Nothing could stop this moment... Nothing until her lips moved, and the words that came from her mouth had stabbed me; I remained silent, and quietly wished the moment lingered for just a tad longer.

Nothing could stop this moment... Armageddon has arrived. As God looked down at the scorched earth far below him, tears fell from his half closed eyes as he felt the pain of the beings from the world below.
Nothing could stop this moment..... believe me, I’d tried many times. I was back here again, desperately trying to find a way to change history but it always ended the same way; with a desperate look of terror in her eyes as her last breath escaped from her lips.

Of course I hadn't counted on my little sister and her friend bursting though the door at that exact second, their identical looks of shock quickly turning to fits of laughter.
